'Little House' draws Melissa Gilbert to Minnesota (AP)

Gilbert is returning to 'Little House on the Prairie' , but this time playing the mother of her character from the popular television series. The Guthrie Theater said Gilbert, 44, will play 'Ma' Ingalls in a musical version of the 'Little House' books. The Guthrie Theater says it is extending the run of a new musical version of 'Little House on the Prairie' by two weeks, because of high ticket demand.
