‘Three Rivers’ role is personal for Patinkin

Mandy Patinkin received corneal implants, donated by the families of a 13-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, to correct a disease that distorts the shape of the cornea and severely impairs vision. He'll now play an aspiring organ donor.
